Royal Coachman Lodge
Premier Alaska fly fishing in Bristol Bay, with fly-out access to trout, salmon, char, pike, grayling, and wild river country.Royal Coachman Lodge sits on the Nuyakuk River, a quarter mile below the outlet of Tikchik Lake in the 1.6 million-acre Wood-Tikchik State Park. This is the heart of Southwest Alaska's Bristol Bay sport fishing region, with access to all five salmon species, trophy rainbow trout, char, Dolly Varden, massive pike, grayling, and even sheefish.
The program is built around uncrowded water, flexible daily planning, and the kind of Alaska experience each group wants. Guests fish two to a boat, and the lodge's cached boats, fly-out options, exclusive permits, and experienced guide staff create a broad range of daily choices without turning the week into a rigid schedule.

Fishing Program
Flexibility is the core advantage of Royal Coachman Lodge. Each evening, guests and guides review the plan for the next day, matching river choice to conditions, angler goals, and the best available fishing.
Fly-out days open up a huge range of Bristol Bay water. On the rare weather days when aircraft cannot fly, guests still have access to the Nuyakuk and Tikchik Rivers, and the lodge may schedule a non-fly-out day if the local river is fishing especially well.
