Sweetwater Guide School partners with Western Kentucky University to offer an option for earning college credit.

Sweetwater Travel Fly Fishing Guide School is pleased to partner with WKU, Western Kentucky University, to provide students the option of earning college credit. WKU has offered fly-fishing courses since 2005 and is well positioned to provide this opportunity.

Successful completion of the Fly Fishing Guide School, along with related assignments after the on-site training, can lead to earning 3 credit hours.

College Credit Option

3 Credit Hours

Funding options such as 529 Qualified Tuition Plans, federal financial aid, student loans, employee tuition benefits, and some veteran benefits may be used to pay for the course and the Fly Fishing Guide School depending on the student's situation.
